Trades Exhibition Hall Construction Kit - Introduction
The Nova Scotia Construction Sector Council has created a one-of-a-kind Trades Exhibition Hall construction kit where students will construct a retail store. Additionally, students will learn about construction and management occupations through the included educational videos.
As teachers, you will take on the role as Project Manager and be responsible for assigning students to a designated trade representing one step of this build. In accompanying documents, you can find the Instruction Manual highlighting how to construct your retail store step by step. There is also a Project Timeline template, this is to be filled out by the Project Manager when a part of the build is complete. All trades are responsible for following the project timeline accordingly.
