As a sector council made up of equal representation of labour and management, the NSCSC is uniquely positioned to address industry issues and foster strong partnerships that result in cooperative solutions for real and significant change. Through our work, the council has:

  • advanced human resource planning;
  • strengthened industry’s capacity to address new challanges;
  • increased industry competitiveness and productivity; and
  • provided a coordinated approach to addressing labour market issues.

Each initiative/activity the Council undertakes is detailed to include a goal, output, outcome, and timeline, and aligned with one or more of the 6 strategic priority listed below:
