NSCSC Insider

Welcome to NSCSC Insider — our new internal blog created to keep us connected and celebrate the great things happening across NSCSC.

This past month has been full of energy and exciting updates. Rebecca is back from maternity leave and has jumped straight into the world of Trades Hall. Her little one, CJ, is thriving at daycare, which has made the transition smoother. Rebecca has been reconnecting with educators, instructors, and trades professionals, already planning summer camps and prepping for the upcoming Open House. She’s also been playing volleyball 3–4 times a week, saying it’s been amazing for her mental health — love that!

Christine and Joe have covered four deployments over the past few months, and one even got a special visit from the Minister and MLA in Liverpool — they were truly impressed. Outside of work, Christine has been involved with roller skating, and there’s a Roller Night happening on July 5 — reach out to her if you’d like to join in. And here’s something fun — she’s going to be in a movie!

Natasha has been helping with admin support while continuing to assist across Trades Hall and other teams. Nolan turned two, and the birthday celebration was a blast!

Virginia has been working on career pathways, helping develop mini pathways for teams, rolling out branded materials (like new tablecloths), and is looking forward to some goat yoga soon. Mekhla has taken on the task of strengthening communications and has just started learning French —Bonjour! Kyle has been supporting photo and media needs (and about a thousand other things!) with his usual creativity and commitment.

And guess who said, “I do”? Michelle got married — huge congratulations to her!

That’s a wrap on June’s update. Hope this helps you feel a little more connected to what’s happening across the teams. The rest of your inputs are always appreciated — please pass them along for the next edition.
